We hope your Passover Seders were uplifting and meaningful. Here at The Shul we hosted 70 amazing people at the first Seder, it was filled with positive energy, uplifting song and inspiring words, shared by many during the Hagadah and while enjoying the delightful meal. Thank you Esty Zaklikofsky for skillfully overseeing and preparing all the delicious meals throughout the entire Pesach!
As you know by now, The Shul of Bellaire ran an ambitious Passover awareness campaign by gifting a box of authentic, hand-made ‘Shmurah Matzah’, accompanied by a beautiful full-color magazine, to every Jewish household in Bellaire and beyond. Every member of our community felt the embrace of the Jewish community and was united together at their Seder, by eating the same Matzah eaten by our ancestors for over 3,000 years!
We received lots of positive feedback how the gift enriched the Seders of many, and one family said that if not for this gift, they wouldn't have had a Seder all together, and this gift reminded them to not pass over Passover!
We thank our lead Passover campaign sponsors: Gary Davis and Family; Dr. Ori Hampel and Family, in loving memory of Daniella Hampel, a”h. Howard and Barbara Weiner and many other generous individuals… we thank you very much!
A special thank you to two great friends: Brent Erenwert of Brothers Produce and Sami Shbeeb of Flowers by Nino for their generosity in enhancing Passover at The Shul.
A very big thank you to the amazing teen and adult volunteers who helped deliver the Matzah: Yossi Granat; Howie Greenberg; Gaya Hampel; Faye Harrington; Jacob Lipman; Dale Kurtz; Artur Prokofiev; Gennifer Ratliff; Zain Rao; Bryce, Cooper and Darcy Sabloff; Dev Sharma; Lev Sherman; Deborah Sterling; Tami Turner, Mushka, Chana, Rochel, Rivkah and Shaina Liba Zaklikofsky.
