A Moment to Save the World – Part 1

Civilized society depends on proper education built on a healthy foundation. But the only true foundation for education is the same as that of all of creation: “In the beginning, G-d created the Heavens and the Earth.”

Germany was the most intellectual nation of its time, including in the study of ethics and philosophy. But without the “foundation of wisdom” – the knowledge of G-d, they immediately sank to unimaginable depths of inhumanity.

There is only one way to ensure that a child grows up to be decent and upright: He must be taught to begin each day by acknowledging G-d, the Creator, Who wants this world to be governed by morality and holiness. He must know that G-d is above and beyond every human being, yet is a personal G-d Who is aware of everything the child does.
